I'm talking about the (

I'm pretty much of the opinion that if you've seen one grey/black box with blue lighting and a water cooling system you've seen them all, and I'm rather apathetic towards the whole case modding thing, but this is something else.
I'm guessing the CPU and motherboard are electromagnetically shielded in the bottom section. It's clearly very, very geeky. Yet somehow, rather sexy at the same time.

I think the motherboard etc. are actually sat on top of the bottom box and exposed - I wouldn't think it would get very far in an EMC test chamber! I saw a review of it in a magazine a few months ago and I think the general conclusion was that it was pretty fiddly and not quite worth it.
However, yes - it makes a nice change to see something original rather than just another box.

Yeah, I'd worry about having to attack that thing with a can of compressed air every couple of days. Very pretty, though.

Use imageshack next time, Bass. It's (more than) occasionally slow, but at least you're not forcing people to download the pic to see it.
And that case? Uh uh. It might be cool and efficient, but it's a far cry from sleek and sexy. Personally, I think Raph's example is one of the better cases I've seen in awhile. I look at it and think "now there's a machine that can make some kick ass 50's style toast".

Eh, ultimately a case is just a case. If it does it's job, then it's a good buy. Thing is, I have this aversion towards bulky, windowed cases overloaded with LEDs. As nice as it might perform, I'd steer away from it simply because I think it looks a little goofy.
In fact, I usually find myself drawn more towards the post modern nondescript blocks of aluminium. Course this might be because I'm secretly a Mac fanboy. While I usually rail against Apples overpriced hardware, and the weird cult that surrounds them, I find that in the deepest parts of my secret heart...yeah...I want a Mac.

Yeah, I'm with you on the LEDs. I don't like them and wish they could be turned off. It's the jet-like look and huge side fan that grabbed me.
Anyway, do a good deed today and reward youself with a Mac.... we won't tell. :)
