You will go in the Library and the brothel in Night Two, sorry. :(
Did you go in the house of the missing girl? it's the street with the Dancing Burrick.

I know. I just mentioned it here since rope arrows are in quite short supply at the start of each mission, and there are a lot of wood-like textures that are not actually wood, causing you to waste your rope arrows. Being able to retrieve rope arrows that are shot into stone might not be realistic, but it would improve gameplay in this case.
?
It would not improve game play. It would simplify it for idiots, but the name of the game is THINK before you act. If you use up your arrows *any arrows* carelessly, you fail or die. That's the name of the game.
Unlimited ammo is not a game, it's a boring stroll through the park.
The player needs to make choices and then learn from mistakes, or learn to think it through. I ran the whole mission without losing a rope arrow. I used 8 water arrows,
for two fireballs and two fire spirits13 moss arrows,
3 for the keystone holders in the maze, and 10 for the smokers in the temple and never used a broadhead. This on EXPERT in N3.
To make it really simple for you. When in doubt do a QS before you act. That's the easy way out of such predicaments. :ebil:

Of course I do, especially when I'm not sure if something is wood or not. And having the rope arrows be reusable doesn't necessarily make them infinite, since you could still lose them.
I was suggesting it as a compromise for when rope arrows are few and there are several wood-looking-but-not-wood areas around. Please stop trying to imply that I'm an idiot. I believe I finished Night Three using only two four water arrows and three moss, and could have used two less of those if I hadn't decided to spare some creatures in a torch-lit room from my sword. Not everyone has been playing this game for as long as we have, though.

Wow...I am so completely amazed and impressed! I mean...damn...I loved "Rowena's Curse" and expected this to be great but...DAMN. This was freaking PHENOMENAL. Honestly, this is right up there with "Ominous Bequest" and "Calendra's Legacy" as one of my top 3 FMs ever.
I really want to write up a full review for you- but if I wrote it now right after I just beat it, it would be nothing but nonsensical rambling praise (not that there's anything wrong with that :cheeky: ).
Anyway, for now I'll just list off my favorite moments:
1. The big reveal of who the final sister was. I have to admit, I was genuinely surprised! When I entered that house on night one with the haunted room I went the whole rest of that FM and the next one searching for either the child or her body thinking it was some kind of hidden side quest (and wondered the whole time what the connection was between her and the pagan living across from her). When I saw the little girl at the end walking around the statue of the Trickster it was a great "OH S***!" moment. Also, how you kill her was pretty ingenious. A perfect "Thief" boss fight.
2. Finding the reincarnated Lady Rowena in the prison cell. That was a neat little nod to the first FM (and honestly I went the whole time thinking that SHE would probably be the dark sister).
3. Finding Ophelia in the basement of Gile's mansion as a zombie and pacing around his dead body. That whole room had a great creepy atmosphere to it- it had to be mostly that bizarre singing in the background.
4. Sneaking through the abandoned hammerite complex and the crypt sword-less. Probably the single most tense moment in an FM ever. I was honestly sweating bullets.
5. Getting a look into the room in the brothel where it seemed like there was a fight going on. Hahahaha- genius!
6. Seeing every one of the new enemies in Night 3 for the first time. All of them were so damn cool! The topless sirens had to be my favorite. Really cool new sound effects for them. Also they were topless.
7. Every time I cured a plague victim. I don't know what was so damn cool about that.
8. The secret room in the judge's basement- so incredibly disturbing! That combined with the shock of finding the judge hanging from the ceiling the night before...the judge's house was just not a cool place to be.
9. Pinky the burrick. I was genuinely touched.
So yeah, brilliant. I honestly feel like playing it again already- and I beat it 20 minutes ago. It's just...not healthy. But thanks! :thumb:

They are reusable. You probably do, but they can be retrieved, if you place them right, and reused any number of times.
I'm not saying you are an idiot. But to simplify the missions for a new player is un-necessary. They can always start with an easier FM or the games themselves and come back when they have reached a skill level that is adequate.
You don't handicap marathon runners who can because many first-timers can't.
It's the same with THIEF. You learn as you go, and
Your skill is developed by
you and not by a magic bow or killing more bad guys. If a FM mission is too tough, you can always put it aside and come back when you are ready to tackle it again.

Hi The Mike. As you can see, I have a limited vocabulary.....I can only say "Thanks!" every time. A thank you for playing and for the compliments. Which make me happy! :D
BTW, Why
"Sneaking through the abandoned hammerite complex and the crypt sword-less. Probably the single most tense moment in an FM ever. I was honestly sweating bullets."
