I got it..I figured it out. But for the first time I would love to see a zombie. I cant shoot the one through the gate at the market and Mrs Pecock or whoever she is don't sound so good but I can only half pick her door. I also keep running into sewer acces 1 doors that are locked. Come on..just spoil it for me...I need another zombie. So far I got

So you didn't opened the gate in Market Square when you were on the other side?!!:confused:

Next, go to the Dancing Burrick. Look to the right across the canal. See the wooden beams? Figure how to use a rope to get in there. If you do, then when you exit, the main door, turn left, go through the arch and there's your guy at the grate.
Go to the far end of that street and into the door you find there. When you come out go past the opening to the market, the arch you entered by and open the next set of grates with the switch at the far right end of the street. Oldgate Close.
If you can't do it that way, then:
Go through Archway walk to the mayor's house in front of the Mech Complex. Then through the arch into OldGate Close and do the above. That should get you going. :)

But then again: I'm stuck: I can't figure out how to get into the cathedral. I've been to the [SPOILER] Blacksmith's area and the sewers ... from the Judges chambers ..... [/SPOILER] have been to the Cathedral area, but don't have a CLUE how to get in there.
I've read all posts here, but I still can't figure it out in the gameplay :erm: :eww:
I read a lot about beams .... but that was already IN the cathedral ..... and I'm not there yet!
I never found a clue how to get to the key from the knockout guard behind a closed gate a.s.o. I've read that there must be something out there, but still I couldn't find it!
I also don't have any clue how to obtain the key (the first one) to the maintenance area ..... a.s.o.
I must be missing something :erm:
I did find the [SPOILER]man who was drowned, because he couldn't swim, Nils, was it???
I hoped to find a maintenance key on him or in that area, but I never found it!?

Did you go to Doctor Knox and Malthus houses already? If you don't you should, before entering the Cathedral. ;)
If you have already visited them, then go to the back of the Cathedral to find a way in. :)
