No, I cured the girl/woman in the doctor's cage and a man in the basement/sewer part near the canal, I shot him through the bars but that shouldn't be a problem?

the hardest cure on expert i think was ,the one above where you start you have to rope arrow up to a small platform then open a wooden shutter/window and have to hit npc in a room
took me forever to figure that out :P
the best amount at once i got was from roof of sheriff place get guy in room upstairs in a library/office then hit zombie from bakery and then the zombie cop in middle walkway where you roped up, so you can get x3 zombies with one holy water potion

Welll, I officially declare the healing objective broken - I cured two other citizens than last time and it did nothing.

zajazd, while I could not replicate your problem with a fully working game installation, I do have exactly the same problem if the tnhscripts meeded for this mission are not there - which usually doesn't happen since these are shipped with "Seven Sisters" (although these ones most likely are outdated) as well as T2Fix (which many players use to get their installations up to date).
So, most likely, the problem is that the tnhscripts don't work properly in your installation.
Is there a folder called OSM in your Thief 2 NewDark installation, and does it contain, among others, a file called tnhscript.osm? And if so, does the file DARKINST.CFG in your main Thief 2 folder contain a line beginning with "script_module_path", and the rest of this line contains, among other text, "OSM" somewhere? These things should be there to make sure the scripts are loaded.

Negatory, but I installed the latest version of NewDark a few weeks ago and I play a lot of fan missions and this is the first time when I have a problem with mission objectives.

NewDark does not contain these scripts. T2Fix does, and should install them if you select that.

Nothing like giving you grief for such a minor point of missing out 4 letters form one of your posts, have checked your saved and the key picks up no problem, I play using FMsel with no mods installed.
Edit: Checked with Newdarkloader as well, again the key picks up no problem, so looks like the problem could be with your comp, I would normally suggest at this point you first restart from the beginning having d/l and installed a new Seven Sisters zip and if that fails re-install your T2 game, but if you have been only using Newdarkloader since June of last year it's unlikely (but possible) it's not your T2 game.
Or we could just put this down to a localised bug (they happen occasionally), so here's a (
https://drive.google.com/file/d/16m0cJDMT_buyFDJTrpbrlfnj9j-mnYj9/view?usp=sharing) save with me having picked up the key for you.
Hey, I know this is much later, but I was having the same issue. Played the mission for over 2.5 hours and got to the key and couldn't pick it up. I tried a fresh install, using the newdarkloader and it still didn't pick up. No idea what happened. I have no way of progressing the mission :( I've also never really used a forum before so I hope this looks okay.

Damn, this bug has cropped up again.
What version of T2Fix are you using? According to Jax the problem was related to 1.27c and we hoped it wouldn't occur in later versions ((
https://www.ttlg.com/forums/showthread.php?t=149669) current T2Fix 1.27e)
Quote:
The key appears to be teleporting properly, but its "Contains" links are not being removed, which prevents the "HasRefs" property from being set appropriately after the key has been teleported. Consequently, the key is not able to be seen or interacted with. This appears to be the result of an oversight while moving the fixed TrapTeleporter script from a nut to a compiled module in 1.27c.
Here's a (
https://drive.google.com/file/d/185ihySMEHOcIUf3qFdjMilbTc6KjQjxc/view?usp=sharing) save (1.27c, might not work if using a later T2Fix) from Jax from a couple of years ago that should help you collect the key and continue.
Will report this bug again to Jax.

Thank you! I am using T2Fix 1.27e as far as I can tell. I also replaced whatever loader I was using with the newdarkloader for fan missions. I just ended up skipping to the next mission, which was sad but at least it let me continue. Thanks again!

Great campaign, with the first mission being my favorite. The second mission is a rehash of the first one, with a few areas now accessible that were previously closed off. The third mission, a homage to the Maw of Chaos missions from T1 and T2, has a different style and gameplay compared to the first two in the campaign.
Night One - completed March 7, 2024
Stats:
* Easy difficulty
* 2 hours and 43 minutes
* 2400 out of 2999 loot
* 3 plagued citizens healed
* 2 out of 5 secrets found
* 0 hints needed
Bonus objectives not completed:
* Did not heal all plagued citizens in this part of town.
Elements I liked:
* Interesting city architecture with verticality. It was a lot of fun to explore.
* The sense of looming danger. The streets look mostly normal, but you can hear and see infected roaming behind walls and grates.
* Many custom objects and models. The most memorable one for me was the modified System Shock 2 monkey.
* You frequently discover new readables that advance the plot. It keeps things engaging. Other players reported this campaign as addictive. I can see why.
* Nice use of ambient sounds, like the barking dog in an alley.
* Building style with lots of varied textures, which makes the streets and interiors look more believable.
* The replacement health bar looks better than the one from the original game.
* Bringing peace to the haunted cathedral was a standout moment.
Could be improved:
* How does Garrett know the names of everyone in town? When you pick up bodies, names are displayed.
* No automap and the map does not look particularly great. It is serviceable though.
* The replacement compass is harder to read than the one from the original game. At least north is clearly visible.
* There is a Christian cross in the crypts. This should be a Hammerite hammer.
Night Two - completed March 9, 2024
Stats:
* Easy difficulty
* 2 hours and 33 minutes
* 4274 out of 6009 loot
* 0 out of 3 secrets found
* 0 hints needed
Bonus objectives completed:
* Healed all plagued citizens in this part of town.
* Found the Cross of St. Cristobal.
* Made sure Basil will pay for his crime.
Bonus objectives not completed:
* Did not find someone who still loves Ophelia.
Quest locations not explored:
* There is an X next to the entrance of a burning house, up the stairs from the market, but I did not find out what it meant.
* Someone up on a balcony in a house near Basso's. I did not find out how to enter his house.
* Locked door in library you can get to via a roof near the Police Station.
Elements I liked:
* Nice of Basso to put all the keys collected by Garrett during the first night on a keying for him.
* Getting to all the areas that were inaccessible in the first night felt satisfying.
* When you try to rob the fruit dealer next to Basso's a second time, the locks are suddenly very easy, but instead of loot you find a note by him, mocking you for trying to do this again.
* The female domination scene in the brothel was unexpected and quite amusing the way it was animated.
Could be improved:
* Having to replay sections from the previous mission did not feel as exciting as playing them for the first time.
* I can see the second double door inside the cathedral is now a wall because that area is not needed in the second mission.
* If you climb up to the rooftop of one of the guard towers of the Police Station, you can see the pink color of where the backdrop behind the mission's boundaries ends.
Night Three - completed March 12, 2024
Stats:
* Easy difficulty*
* 1 hour and 46 minutes
* 2515 out of 4010 loot
* 1 out of 5 secrets found
* 0 hints needed
Bonus objectives completed:
* Found at least 2000 loot.
Bonus objectives not completed:
* Found only 2 black diamonds.
Elements I liked:
* The mission looks really nice, both the outdoors and the interiors.
* The creepiness of the later parts of the mission.
* All the new custom enemies were interesting.
* The part where you watch the knife fight.
Could be improved:
* I could mantle up the invisible wall north of the abandoned mill and get to a small area you are not supposed to be in.
* If you jump into the fast-moving stream around the water wheel, you can't get out and have to reload.
* When you are carrying one of the custom enemies, Garrett is shown carrying a human in a red tunic instead.
