Noir style isn't obligatory for these sorts of stories, but it wouldn't hurt if you added a noirish-flavor to it :).

C'mon duckeh, just continue the story. Others will join if they feel compelled to do so, but usually these threads end in a flop. Dunno if I've seen one successful one yet.
Lots of people are at work and when they see a "story" they just don't have the time to sit through and read it, especially if they don't know if it will suck or they will enjoy any part of it.
