i I was following the guard going towards the power plant, then the game fail. He did not see me. And the objective is to go to the power plant and look around. Well does this mean I must beat the guard to the power plant. If this is the case I sis not realised it was a marathon.
Is there a another way to the power plant.

Was this before or after being in the castle? There is a certain guard you're supposed to follow and not be seen by, but it's made clear that is the situation. You don't have to beat him anywhere though, just follow and observe what happens without being seen.

I am in the tunnel going b the power plant. when the game fails. And when I load an earlier save, I wait for the sequence to start where the guard come to meet the king (nothing) I notice this guard is standing behind the doors. Might be a glitch.

Something isn't right. Yes, you can see the guy ready to come in if you open the front doors. Maybe GORT should make the doors unfrobbable until you go upstairs which is when he will enter. But if he saw you when you did that it might be why it failed in the tunnel where nobody could see you. On restoring the save, did you go upstairs and nothing happens? If you're waiting downstairs he's not supposed to enter yet.

I did an earlier save, and I snuck upstairs waiting, nothing happens. It seems the sequence no longwe working. If this is the case, is there a way to by pass this mission.

If you have a save from before entering tunnel or castle, maybe try that, otherwise you can always do SHIFT-CTL-ALT-END to go to mission 7. Nothing like this happened in testing though.

Many times, I tried what you said and nothing the sequence does not activate. I just don't know what to do. I load a save from almost from the beginning. nothing.
