Anything specific you'd like to call out as bollocks?

It is pathetic so see protesters getting arrested and assaulted. Just in case you needed a reminder that you're a subject, not a citizen.
There's a difference between protesting and being disrespectful.
Countless edgelords spend their time spewing venom on the internet about whatever public figure they hate, with no consequences (just do a tour of Twitter). When they go too far and get called out on it, or disrupt a public event and get reprimanded, it's "OMG, I'm being oppressed, help!!!!"

Despite the royalty in the UK having a reputation of having no influence over politics and staying out of it, the reality seems to be a bit different. The British royal family has apparently privately (to not say secretly) lobbied and shaped legislation in no small part thanks to having advance knowledge of it. Because, y'know, small perks like these are hardly a privilege worth talking about.

The Queen successfully lobbied the government to change a draft law in order to conceal her “embarrassing” private wealth from the public, according to documents discovered by the Guardian.
A series of government memos unearthed in the National Archives reveal that Elizabeth Windsor's private lawyer put pressure on ministers to alter proposed legislation to prevent her shareholdings from being disclosed to the public.
Following the Queen's intervention, the government inserted a clause into the law granting itself the power to exempt companies used by “heads of state” from new transparency measures.
The arrangement, which was concocted in the 1970s, was used in effect to create a state-backed shell corporation which is understood to have placed a veil of secrecy over the Queen's private shareholdings and investments until at least 2011.
The true scale of her wealth has never been disclosed, though it has been estimated to run into the hundreds of millions of pounds.

Yeah. Like people who put their garage sale signs on brown cardboard, using pencil. - HEY! I am traveling 50KMH and I have 2.6 seconds to decide whether to turn on carry on.
As for the Royals. It's time for Canada to move on.
Although this series is quite enlightening.

If royals could be relied on to set a good example of how accumulated wealth can be used for the public good, I might be OK with letting Charles have a go...

I saw president Obama's statement of condolence at her burial today and was relieved Trump did not make one. Not only would Trump lack any compassion or class but I'm sure would have claimed he would have made a greater royal, possibly the greatest of all time, and then insulted Bidens ability to make a speech all the while oblivious as to his own lack of decorum and decency.

Trump did make a comment. He criticized Biden for getting a bad seat at the funeral, and said that if it was Trump they would have sat him at the front.
I was thinking about writing a fake Trump speech for laughs but then remembered what he actually said.

Trump is relentlessly stupid.

Must be a real bummer that all those relatives and friends always seem to hog the coveted front row seats at funerals.
