The Pursuance Of An Inscrutable Reciprocity Post-Contest Version (Sept. 14, 2022) - by GORT

Please help. I have read the post about location for Crazy Bill's key but still cannot find it. The note claims the key was placed on window to left while traveling north on wire. I am on the long wire which leads to the place where a Keepers appears shortly and then dissappears.
Thanks.

You're at the correct place, but you need to do something first. The rotunda door must be open first. This is what was meant by the call of the rotunda. Basically, Crazy Bill hears the door opening.
Once you've done that, you can get the key.
For the record, you won't be able to find Crazy Bill.
Also, doing all of this is optional for the whole campaign.

Thank you Gort, I do have the rotunda door open and there is a chest inside. I must be missing something.
Wow, I am having much trouble with this mission. I am also looking for a key to open the circular building next to the Mechanist workshop and also for the South Side Entrance.
I am a seasoned Thief fanatic and this mission, although awesome, is kicking my butt!
Oh, I also pilferred a key from the Mechanist guy walking around but have no idea where to use.

The circular building next to the Mech shop is the rotunda building. There shouldn't be a chest in there, but there is a book on the table. If you haven't got the rotunda key, you'll need to find both gems to get it.
Glad you've got the key from the Mech Worker. Go back to the Mech shop. There should be a locked box in there.

Thank you again GORT, I now have the star but still don't know what to do. I have a red gem placed in the statue base. Also, I cannot find Crazy Bill's key after opening the door and have no idea how to aquire second gem.

To know where the Large Purple Tourmaline of Coupemanthorpp is, there should be a conversation that talks about how a servant accidently dropped the gem down a drain. This is the clue to where it's at. Once you've have both gems in place, you should be able to get the rotunda key under the statue. Opening the door to the rotunda building will give you access to Crazy Bill's key.

Hmm, I have not heard the conversation. I wonder if I knocked out one of the AI and now cannot hear it. If so, can I still find the gem and where would I look?
Ha!, I found it in a logical place. Looking forward to continuing.
Thanks again for help!

I finally managed to find time to play this updated version. Overall I had more fun with it. There is a lot more places to find loot and you found some voice actors. So that's great. In mission 1 the only thing I didn't like was note about Crazy Bill. It's so easy to misinterpret it. Mission 2 was better. Clock puzzle is much better explained. I didn't find any new secret and I needed to check this thread to find out how to solve air and water mages requests. Also despite what fortuni said - flare actually can complete fire mage's request.
Mission 3 was fun too. I beat it in 4 hours and collected 7675 loot and 8 secrets. I didn't need any hint to complete mission or how to get bonus objective. I only learned about secret garden from this thread and unlike fortuni I didn't need to use speed potions (I didn't have any anyway) to get in and out, though it was the hardest platforming in this mission. I found it odd that cops are patrolling inside houses. There were also climbable trees, but only 2 I found useful. And also there are electrical lamps hanging on walls. Some of them you can douse and afterwards relight with flares. They pretty much act as torches, but some of them have switches that can turn them on. That's weird. I really liked idea about stuff showing up after getting magic eye.
This mission has some problems. First - baker in his book explains that he locked metal box in safe in bank, but his safe has only loot. It's safe next to it that has metal box, so I suspect this metal box was placed in wrong safe. I didn't like backtracking for magic eye objective: go to mansion for a key, then to starting area for ruby and then back to mansion. I would prefer key to be placed somewhere else like for example in pawn shop. There are some problems with patrol routes. 2 AIs got stuck walking into lampposts. One patrolling woman fell into canal and drowned. There is stationary cop behind building south from tavern. Well, he may out of nowhere change his position and appear standing near wooden door leading to apartments above tavern. I have no idea why it's happening. The biggest bug is finishing mission without getting magic eye. You just need to complete loot objective, go to exit gate and mission will end successfully.

Maybe you didn't
talk with fire mage first.
