I use spray glue GBM! Works a treat. That is when the conkers aren't doing their job.
And Para?noid, sorry you aren't safe in the UK at all. My bloke was bitten by a spider in Cambridge 2 years ago and still has the ulcerous mark on his leg - about twice the size of a 50p and dark red. And I was bitten on the finger last year - no permanent damage but the pain in my arm kept me awake all night. I didn't mean to wake the damn thing up. I said I was sorry - it had no reason to bite me ffs.
