Good to see that the "lack of hostility" has been duly eradicated from this thread :thumb:

Congratulations. You just deliberately insulted the only person here who was still addressing you with patience and a lack of hostility.
Let's see if
you can understand this.
In real life, it doesn't matter if people crack jokes at your expense at your back once you've walked away. On the internet though, since it doesn't work that way, you only need a few mouse clicks to know if you're still being provoked. A response then is only natural.
Also, i'm not insulting anybody around here. And that isn't my wont in real life either. I'm just responding to subtle attempts at patronizing me. Anybody would.

I really don't think anyone was trying to be subtle.

See?
Ok, i take that back. Blatant then.
I hope you're not short of artillery.

I wasn't trying to patronize you, dude. I did, however, identify with you and try to stop you from giving some of these guys more ammo. Well, carry on.
P.S.: You seem to think that subtletie is lost on me, and I won't try to convince you otherwise. However, consider that I purposely didn't respond to the following flattering remark when I quoted you the second time:

Or does this sound too intricate for you to understand?
You have your bubble, and I have mine. It so happens, though, I am aware as such.

Not to sound ungrateful but why not PM me then?
It's all a charade, right?:sly:

Yes. Yes it is.

Back to the topic. Can one of you Australians direct me to a picture/page with that blue spider I've seen in Australia? I can't find it anywhere. It was bright blue, rather round body (couple of cm diameter) with long legs. It hung in the centre of a "normal" web between trees. It looked rather hard-shelled/hairless.
Rather in the south of Australia (maybe it was even in Tasmania).
Yes, it's not purple but bright blue.

Edit: Uh oh, hairless you say?
