Thank you Nightwalker :D
Ironically, the scroll I was missing said: "This one was a bit easy, wasn't it" :o
One of the reasons I gave this mission a try was because you mentioned it was one of your favorites. Plus I wanted to try one of the old T1 classics. I am very happy with my choice!
Next up is ghosting the Calendra-quadrilogy.

I have a confession to make. Although I'm a big SilentSleep fanboi, and Equilibrium is one of my all-time faves, I had started this mission several times but I had never finished it. I finally played through the whole thing yesterday and thoroughly enjoyed it! It's definitely one of the best of the best T1 missions, and I encourage anyone who's not done so to play it. Great architecture for the time, excellent balanced gameplay, puzzles, story... it's got it all.

Where do I find the golden key? I got the other two and used them already.
I'm SO stuck here :ebil:

I think it's in the Master's safe which is in his bedroom. You have to frob a book to find it.

I don't know if any of the keys are in different places on each difficulty setting, except the Bronze one, which definitely is. My notes say the Master's key is in the room of Horten, the head guard. His room is at the top of one of the spiral staircases and there's a bulletin board on the hallway wall beside it. I seem to remember that it's a bit difficult to find so easy to miss.
I don't see any mention of a key for Durken's room so either I missed writing it down or it can be picked. I'd go check but I can't play Thief at the moment due to my stupid broken wrist.

It was Horten I didn't have a key for, my mistake.
Can you tell me where the missing key is?
DO you keep notes of all of these missions? WOW!!!
RESPECT! :thumb:
Hope your wrist will soon be better.
Thief is an addiction :ebil: isn't it?

Well said. I agree 100%.
It's definitely one of my favorite T1 missions.

Sorry, Gloria. It's been a long time and I'm afraid I do not remember. :(
