Awesome, thank you so much for these. :D
About the re-encoding of mp3's into flacs: Kolya, you are creating bits out of thin air. Not much sense in that.
Bjossi on 23/4/2007 at 20:11
I was wondering why he was doing that, I thought it was obvious enough that you can't magically add detail into a lossy file out of thin air.
Better rip the CD again with lossless quality to get all those valuable bits made by Eric.

Sweet jesus, people, lay off the stupid pills. The reason Kolya re-encoded the MP3s as FLACs was to estimate how big FLACs of the source material would be.

Only you guys would possibly bitch about the quality.

Many thanks!!:D :D

Quality is important, bad quality = no joy in listening.

Exxxxxxcept for the part where it's NOT bad quality.

Well, 320k is damn good, but lossless is even better, though I can't imagine there is much of an audible difference.
ZylonBane on 23/4/2007 at 21:11
This isn't about the listening quality (which is excellent), it's about the archive quality. Subtle but important distinction.
A FLAC rip would be ideal, but really, I'm thrilled with this as is.

Wtf I have no idea what you guys are talking about.
Too bad I have listened the SS2 songs so many times this really didn't do that for me :erg:
... although the first piece is excellent. Never heard that whisper so well.
