Yeah, that's unfortunately something that a number of people have had happen. We did anticipate it (hence the PM telling you to complete your unfinished business) but I guess we needed to be more obvious. All the maps are re-set after DXI so anything you've stored will be gone.
In other news we just scored frontpage/DVD/3 pages of PC PowerPlay: (

I'm stuck. I'm down there in the basement with that Shodan-wannabe and I've entered the codes into all the machines. There's a room with heavy machinery and those flying things. Good job on those btw, very creepy. And the room next to it has 2 spiderbots and many levels above it but no way to get up to the above levels. There are 2 storagerooms nearby that are accessed with the code 0246(iirc). What do I do? How do I get outta here?
Again, great job on the mod. I started playing it a few months ago, then stopped, for some reason, and started up again yesterday and got hooked again right away. Of course I've forgotten why I'm even supposed to be down into this basement punching numbers into machines by now, but I had a lot of fun sneaking through Goat City getting here. :)
Kudos on the PC Powerplay coverage, it's well deserved.

one of the security robots and a nearby Firewall go spontaneously hostile and start shooting at me.
I get that too, and I don't have a reputation IRL. I avoided it by using the side entrances, and assumed it was another meta bit of deconstructive commentary on the emergent nature of experience or something.

Anyone else have trouble finding The Party Zone? I ended up finding it basically by trying to open every building door on the map. Yeah there's a sign, but it's way up where you can't even see it if you're close to the building, and when you can see it, it's not even legible (plus it looks more like a billboard).
You'd think the entrance to a place like The Party Zone would be all festooned in neon and colored lighting, not just a drab blank facade like 90% of the other buildings.

Well it's exactly where the map says it is. If you have half a brain and know how to use a compass you can't really miss it. Unless you didn't get the map to the corporate district somehow ? The guy in the subway gave it to me both time I played through the game, but maybe if you do something wrong he doesn't give it to you.

So you agree that the outward design of The Party Zone is such that you need a map to find it.

Why don't you make your own Deus Ex mod then and program a GPS system into it like GTA 4.

You missed ZB's point. Prepare for retaliation...:laff:

I think you're probably the first person to ever report difficulty in finding it, which tends to indicate that the problem lies more at your end...
Still, I'll agree that it is lacking in OMFG NEON and the like.

I already played through as PDX for fun. Knowing that there's another patch in the works, I'm approaching my current 1.02 WorldCorp run from more of a nitpicky playtest perspective. I have a pile of notes which I suppose I should try to sneak onto the TNM forum.
