Super Mario Brothers was one of the best gaming experiences you could ever hope to have, and some of the most fun I've ever had, period. Good times. And the movie would have been AMAZING if it was even half as good as the game. And what exactly did they have to base the movie on?
"Mario, an Italian plumber, can change his size, clothing and can toss fireballs against walking mushrooms to save a mushroom princess."
Shakespeare that game was not. :p

Shakespeare that game was not. :p Don't forget Mario can jump on walking mushrooms and instantly squash them.

What I would wear for the DX movie premiere...?
Just the usual rags, but I would turn on all my nano-augmentations in order to better enjoy the movie.

I would probably also go as Gunther. Bad German accent, bitter personality, sarcastic remarks, can't beat that. :cheeky:
Either that or a bum. :p
"Honest officer! It's a costume!"

I don't think DX is going to make a very good movie, or at least, it won't live up to the game (which was brilliant and my most fav game ever). The game had too many paths, options and depth to put in a movie. And if the movies crap it'll ruin the game. I'm just a bit sceptic (how the hell do you spell it anyway? :weird: ). Does anyone else agree with me?
I think that the Thief series would make better movies (the games were good, but DX was better) because Thief was more linear.

Thief: The Movie?
Who would want to watch a movie about a guy creeping around and stealing shit for an hour and a half?
