I still hate the isopods most. I blame Stitch for the combination of images and text in that thread from years ago. That stuff in the sewer that heretic linked to was just wrong wrong wrong.
I find the squid and octopi really fascinating and not scary, just cool as. They are just the best things in the sea ever; shape shifters, colour changers and that blanket octopus... just wow. I have to get an octopus someday.
Must go and find the freaky insects I saw on you tube. You guys will love/hate it.

I haven't had my morning coffee yet, its brewing as I type. I will abstain from clicking on any further links in this thread till my brain is fully awake. Thanks for sharing! Some of those creatures are indeed very cool, and nature truly is amazing and a bastard.

that clinging spider isn't the biggest spider in the world there's ones bigger than that in borneo, but as the ones in borneo haven't been classified yet you wont find them mentioned much more than odd mentions in caving books. the cave spiders are between 2 1/2 feet to 3 feet across, completely white with no eyes, small body and very long thin legs.
Sounds about the size of a Thief spider. ⌐⌐

Sometimes I'm really glad to life in an area, where you can grab every spider and put it outside and most of these other things wouldn't like to live as well.
I do the same thing, put small spiders outside, thinking they'll have no chance for survival in my house, wheres the food, and my cats will eat them. That brutal right there. When really, thats probably tame compared to being outside.
OK, I'm awake.
