I don't know what made me think of this, nor do i have any idea, of why I want to talk about disgusting stories, but what the hell, here's mine:(I wish I could Link the actual story, but this is from memory) DO NOT READ, IF YOU ARE EATING...YOU ARE WARNED...
A few years ago, on one of the major highways leading to NYC, they had a problem, the toll booth clerks were getting sick from some noxious smell, and it was July with 90+ Degree days. There was an investagation, and it was found that the odor was coming from a old abandoned "Ice House', it was basically a large brick building about 5 to 7 stories high that had massive freezers, on the all the floors, it was kinda a "way" station, between say fisherman and your supermarket, and they would store all sorts of meat and fish in huge pallet loads, awaiting delivery to processors or markets.Well they apparently fell on hard times and were forced to close down, unfortunatly they couldn't get all the perishiables,(meat and fish mostly) out of the building, because of sloppy management, some of the floors had "OLD" past prime meat and fish on them, and it just sat on those floors, frozen like a rock, but because of the poor mangement, some of the main doors had frozen shut, and couldn't be opened. The workers were all fired, and in the confusion no one gave two shits about what was left in the building, they just closed the doors and went home. Now at first, this wasn't really a problem because even after they closed, Con-Ed, the Electric Company continued to supply electricity to the building, but as some point they disconnected them, then the problems started...
...The building without electricity to power the freezers began to thaw, and with it hundreds of tons, of old meat and fish, and since the company was insolvent, no one was aware of this...Except the rats...Now just about every area in NYC has a few rats,(as in any major city) rats have sensitive noses and picked up the smell of food, from miles around....and converged for a feast, somehow they managed to naw there way into the freezers where all this food was, what the rats didn't know of course, was by this time all the food had turned Putrid and was posionous,so they loaded up and ate, and died by the hundreds of thousands, mostly in the walls where thier bloated bodies were stacked 3 feet high, and stewed in 90+ degree temps for a long while, this is when the toll booth clerks started getting sick...When the first authorites arrived on the site, they had to use full Scot Pac and hazmat gear just to enter the building, and it was discribed at the time as a "Horror Scene"
EVERY SINGLE Government Department after just taking one look at that scene, said and I remember this exactly "this cleanup" is NOT our responsibility, and our personal are NOT going to do it...
Give me your best disgusting stories....

Chicken fajitas... using those tricky, non-marbleized (HAHAHA I HAVE NO FUCKING IDEA WHAT THIS MEANS BUT APPARENTLY ITS SCIENCE) chicken breasts, quickly marinaded in tequila, olive oil, soy sauce, garlic and lime juice/rind ... just enough to soak up some of the flavour then BAM into a frying pan, little bit of flambe just for the fuckin' hell of it and to make the wife nervous. Some jumbo tortilla wraps, a dollop of creme fraische ... no home made salsa tonight, too fuckin' tired. Just whammo, wrap it up and chow down. Good food in about 20 minutes.
Wait, what the fuck is this thread about?
