1. Looking Glass tribute mods. Eg - the Flight Unlimited Mod - imagine that - after a heavy day looting a dungeon, you get to hop in your red and white camel aero-bi plane and chuck a few stylish Immelmanns.
2. Classic Game mods - eg Pong the Mod. In which, after a busy day picking herbs, brewing potions and killing rats, you get to be a paddle. Your job is to stop this square puck thing from getting past you.
3. the Mickey Rourke Mod - where you get to go around as the most scary looking fucked up guy ever.

I am doing a Daikatana mod. It will have revolutionary A.I., graphics and gameplay. It will be out very soon.

:D While you're at it, can you take care of world peace and poverty as well?
Have you seen some of the first mods?
"pokemon mod"
"nude mod"
"lightsaber mod"
"prostitution mod"
*sigh*

While it's not on the list, I just thought I'd drop in and say that I'm starting work on a very cool mod of my own. I'm doing a Hitchcock-inspired murder mystery plotline that takes place on a separate small island. It will have no new art, I don't think, but such things like
1. All individually written dialog for NPC's. (and I'm a Creative Writing major, so it will be passable at least :D ) Each will have a distinct personality and motives.
2. A good number of scripted surprises. Ever find the secret switch that moves the bookcase in Tel Vos? That was my creation :) Expect many more secret passages and things like that in my mod.
3. Intro, middle, and possibly ending cutscenes.
4. A classic murder mystery ending where you call all the NPC's into a room and pick the murderer :D

I REALLY hope someone gets it into their head to do a Planescape: Torment remake.
Really.

Kathode that sounds terrific!
You should give us some progress updates.
It's an exciting time for role playing buffs. And budding film directors.
Anything's possible dammit
