Hey folks! Wanted to let you know that I just released a new album of nifty music I created in the 90's before I moved out of music and into games.
(I was a musician for 20 years before I switched gigs.)
Have a look and listen! See a few more details on the album page too.

Hey haven't listened to it all yet, but it's good stuff! Very much in the vein of what I call "Nintendo Jazz".

I like it. Thanks!

This is really cool. Nintendo jazz, lol! That's a great description. This would fit in a jazz version of Stardew Valley or something!

I listened to more, still great, but I think the percussion sounds could be louder?
edit - used non-shit speakers and its fine, my mistake.

I've been listening between meetings today, and I'm liking everything, albeit #2 is a little too Metheny-esque for me. I understand the "Nintendo jazz" description. I think most of these would work really well as game music.

Hey! Thanks for listening and for comment! No mistake.
I was working with old masters and, unfortunately, couldn't entirely re-mix them. It's a remastering with some creative editing.
But I didn't mind. It works out nice with a couple of the lighter, jazz-tinged tunes having both the drums and acoustic bass in the back. What do you think?

Metheny-esque is a good observation. I have to admit that I was a fan of his for a while there. Hey oddly I hadn't thought of it (I compartmentalize too much) but I think some of these could be good in games too! Thanks for comment!
