The models are in the files and summonable, but I've not noticed Phillip or any of the others in-game anywhere. Does anyone know anything about this? All the bible says about Mead is that Beth DuClare helped him in college.

It's the president and his family - they were planning a mission in the whitehouse at one point then decided it wouldn't be much fun and got cut out.
They don't feature in the game except in a couple of texts.

I heard that one reason the White House mission got canceled was due to engine/mapsize restraints, but I could be wrong.

I would've loved to seen those 3 in the game... that'd be awesome! Maybe when Eidos decides to re-hire Warren for a remake of DX with a huge budget and no console releases, they would. : :p

Fortunately for DX, the cut-down console squished version was made after the epic, definative PC one - meaning that console constraints were not a part of the PC version. If only they had continued this theme... :(

Where was that first picture from? If that was a genuine in-game video, is it possible to do something like the Thief 3 Minimalist Project to Invisible War, fixing the HUD etc?
