I noticed it, but I don't really see what's important about it? It was an interfaith church. There were crosses, menorahs, Buddhas, etc lining the walls as well.
It's notable because it's heavy-handed.
"Look, maaaan, it like, doesn't, like,
matter what you believe, because, like, dude, all religions are pretty much leading to the same thing, man."

It's notable because it's contrary to the "Christian Shepard" thing.

I thought it was funny that Kate of all people would pick up on that. :D

It pretty much did. That's the annoying thing. Well, that and I think everyone who wasn't a very strong fan of the series SAW that.
We'll probably get two mics in The Source, the majority of white America will call us racist instead of pro-black, but that's because we're on the other tip.

I didn't understand any sentence you posted there GBM. The first paragraph because just no that's not what happened and the second because I don't know I just have no. idea. what. you are talking about. Maybe I'm having a brainfart but....

You're not the only one, SE, it seems a bit of a non sequitur to me too.
I don't know if there are any plans to have a spin-off series but given the way it ended there are several characters (Hurley, Desmond, Ben and the people on the plane) who's final fate in reality wasn't shown. There would be scope to explore some of the mysteries of the island although I really hope they don't. Not every loose end needs to be tied up.

GBM, what language are you even speaking? At first it seemed like you were referring to the whole thing being a dream (which it wasn't) or them being dead the whole time (which they weren't). Then it went off the deep end.
Anyways, no spin off series as far as I know (from the main writers anyways, ABC may plan something different). HOWEVER< the season 6 dvd release includes an extra half hour of footage. Apparently this includes scenes with Hurley in charge of the island (showing what happened after The End) and scenes with Walt that were filmed, but not included in the finale.

Well how come Abrams can get away with tacking nonsense onto the end of an unintelligible premise and I can't? :(

You failed to provide the appropriate buildup before dropping the nonsense on us. Without that, your stuff just comes off as hoo-wuht-nuh from start to finish.
