Right. I don't care much about names in TV series.

You want a good British sitcom? Peep Show friends, embrace the Peep Show.
Peep Show is brilliant.
Also Nathan Barley/Mighty Boosh etc.

Agreed, Peep Show is Brilliant.
The IT Crowd...isn't.

It's a bit hit and miss in the comedy but it's utterly charming. The girl in occasionally displays alarmingly awesome comedic skills, yet is often left pulling faces (I'd liked to have seen a bit more of a culture clash between her as managment schooled and them as nerds) And Richmond is painfully hilarious.
Lineham said the first "series" (six episodes or something. not even the minumum of seven usually required) was sort of a long pilot because he was a bit nervous about how geeky he could be. So hopefully they've seen Futurama doing well and cut loose on the next one

The episodes I saw of the first series were horrible. I found nothing in them funny at all - it tried and tried but it just wasn't funny. I thought the latest series is still hit and miss a lot of the time, but overall it's alright. Certainly a lot better than the first series.

Well I'm chuckling a lot (sometimes less lot, but overall a lot), because I see one sitcom series in four years, so perhaps most of the jokes seen elsewhere are fresh to me. Anyways, decent goodnight tale.

I don't really like IT Crowd either. But the parody they did on movie piracy prevention was ace.
My favorites are Peep Show, Black Books and Green Wing. Been watching Spaced too. :)

"It's always sunny in Philadelphia" is the best comedy show right now imo.. I watched the first ep of Peep Show, didnt like it at all, perhaps it gets better (most shows gets better, especially after you're properly introduced to the characters.) Corner Gas is another favorite, gotta love the characters..

I caught one episode of that "Always sunny..." about the accusations against the old coach. Pretty close to the edge and pretty damn funny.
