Ok, if this is common knowledge than I apologize but everyone refers to the scamp as being the richest merchant around. Not true the mudcrab merchant has 10k on him. Only problem is he lives in the middle of nowhere and it's nearly impossible to find him unless your looking. This should make it easier tho, look at your map (the one that came with the game), find Suran. Just south of that is a Dwemer ruin called Mzahnch, look closely at the map right where the "h" is, you'll find the mudcrab merchant. (Don't kill him like I did the first time I found him :-)
P.S. I recommend to everyone that once you have some spare time, make an Argonian character and go island exploring, you'll find all kinds of cool stuff.

Why argonia?
I've got a ring with constant water walking - combined with boots of blinding speed and a locked local map - great for exploration...(also got a constant levitation ring - nice to, but my oh my I find that I can still die from a 2.5 km drop :) - guess it figures)
And as for swimming: Ring with constant water breathing and swift swimming.
Who want to be lizard slave anyways??? >:->

Simply watching my argonian warrior in his ebony plate with his tail sticking out and doing that little straddle walk, is enjoyment enough to make an Argonian (or Khajit) char :-)
