I haven't seen the trailer yet but that screen cap doesn't look so bad to me.

I'm still pretty convinced that while trying for shock value it would turn to unintentional hilarity when the first of the centipede utters the immortal line "hhhnnnnhggggghh I need to shit".
I heard someone say it's a pretty apt metaphor for the horror movie industry, more obsessed with cranking out functional approximations of things while the audience willingly eats the shit, but I'm far more inclined to believe that this dude is just a pasty weirdo with a fecal consumption fetish seeing as he's going to do sequels to this one if given the capital.

Search io9 for it. You'll get the scene when they first wake up and realise what has been done to them. That's pretty horrifying/sick if you ask me. That pic I put up is really mild tbh.

One of those rare times when I can honestly say I'm sorry my curiosity got the better of me.
As far as gore and disgusting scenes of mutilation go, the couple of scenes I've seen of the movie aren't exactly the worst ever. A couple of zipper scars, a little exposed fatty tissue, it's pretty tame in that regard. It's the concept, the thought of what's happening to these poor people, that makes it so...just...gawww.
Yeah...I think I'll pass on this one.

Is the sequel the one which shows him with his head up his own ass?
Yeah. Not even tempted to see the trailer much less two hours.

Yeah, I was joking but in all honesty I don't want to see the movie or the trailer. I don't like this kinda stuff, and the internet has already more than satisfied any morbid curiosity.

The reaction to this movie is kinda great. After a decade or two of ever escalating gore and violence ending with the torture porn era, finally something that really gets under people's skin just from the concept.
You can take to people with pliers and drills all you like but if you really want to gross people out, make them contemplate forced participation in human complex digestion experiements.
Don't you just love the "100% medically accurate" tag?

I'd like to say I found this completely repulsive. I'd like to say I didn't find the concept somewhat fascinating. I'd like to say I wasn't mildly aroused at one point. I'd like to say that there's not a part of me that wants to wrap dethtoll up in a blanket and read him nursery rhymes while feeding him toast and marmalade.
I'd like to say a lot of things.
But, I guess the only thing left to say is, anyone for seconds?
...or maybe even thirds.
(Fourths if you're lucky.)
