Wow the knife jokes never end, you'd think they'd die out by now.

Reads like you are starting on the right path by being so bloody optimistic.:thumb: High school is a stange and insular world, just remember, your highschool Guidance Counsellor is your friend. Also focus on maths, sciences and languages as well throw in some business courses. Best of all get into sports. It give you something to fall back on.

Fek Turtle, who did you piss off to lose your moderator status?
Probably when I threatened to kill that kid in Gen Gaming with the full authority of TTLG behind me.
Oh, well.
You live, you learn.

Cut it out! You're slicing into valuable forum post time!

I missed TTLG while Turtle was moderator?! DAMMIT!
Anyway, Gorgon, you should try for math above anything. Try to take what you like as well, but don't take what everyone else is taking. Just be sure to do what you actually need to do.
Oh, and leave this

Hey, I was a little excited about high school when I started it. So this was the big time... then a spare week later those meagre hopes were deflated.
Anyway, don't take high school too seriously, unless you absolutely must get into a good college straight out, something I would argue is entirely unnecessary. Even if you don't want to or can't make it into a decent four-year college right after graduating, a year or two of junior/community/ghetto college can be your gateway into something more decent. The tender trap of community college is the overly relaxed attitude of the students, and often the staff. Get to a counselor, figure out the transfer requirements, and focus on getting out under two years and into someplace serious. You'll save money and aggravation.
Not a bad idea to do the same thing freshman year of high school: visit a counselor, figure out transfer requirements, do your best to meet them. If you can't, or don't want to, don't force it. Being a high school student is stressful enough, and you should make at least some effort to enjoy these fleeting years.
And, of course, it is currently en vogue for teenagers to cut themselves, not others.

"Well," said Charlie, "I 'stabbing someone on the bus' he won't be trying that again!"
The other characters fell about with laughter of the most uproarious kind.
