You should check out King's X and Fishbone, and not just because they also have black singers, but because they understand the Bootsy Collins method of funk, and know their way around a distortion pedal. :cool:

Urban Dance Squad deserves mention given such company. They may be weaker than Fishbone and Living Color on the whole, but they certainly had their moments of greatness.
