There are fixes but the gun nuts will not let them happen. The "we can't fix it" thing is yet another self-fulfilling prophecy by the gun nuts. What is meant by "we can't fix it" is that they don't want to give up their toys so there is no fix. There was a time when I grew up when there were not military grade weapons with large magazines to do this kind of thing. Shootings still happened but in nowhere near the numbers.
What pisses me off is this asshole first threatened to attack a national guard armory but then he pussed out because they would shoot back. All these sorts who worship guns are cowering pussies dependent on a weapon to feel safe and when they attack it's against those who they know will not have them. Oh but that means we should all have weapons right? No. It means we should not be cowering pussies that feel the need to possess large capacity magazines.

Are you referring to the miltary, police, politicians? It's hard to tell.
Also, Large capacity magazines are for amateurs. Anyone that shoots guns on a regular basis knows that 10 round mags are much less likely to jam and are super easy to store, load and work into the rifle receiver than a bigger mag.
Also, not a one single anti-gun nut crazy has mentioned banning cars after the big crash that killed a lot of unsuspecting people recently. There's no logic in your arguments.

Firearms instructor and mentally ill to the point of being institutionalized has to be one of the worst combinations of qualities for a person. But I suppose a person wouldn't see much need for an assault rifle unless they were hyper-paranoiac about mortal & existential threats around every corner.
Growing up around hunting types and having done some sports shooting in my time, I know enough to know they're not good weapons for hunting or shooting sports.
