Did you read what he wrote? Gangs of hungry looters and a slippery water park slide for any gun law whatsoever, not to mention exile for Marxists, and the left has been found out for total disarmament! The horror! As good a time as any to remind folks how long gun nuts have been more worried about taking guns away than children dying. They forget the Brady bill was not a "slippery slope". Hell, it didn't even last, but did cut down on mass shootings. Sadly most shooting is suicide so not a big dent in overall numbers. But oh lawzy we don't need none of that common sense laws around here! No common sense for the US of A pal.

I think it's odd that the NRA endorsed gun control for years until the gun manufacturers started pumping money into them. Or maybe odd is the wrong word.

I think the word you are looking for is fucked. As in it is totally fucked that their insistence on such a proliferation of weapons is fueling their paranoia about civil war and thus causing them more gun buying and more paranoia. And gun makers are laughing all the way to the bank.
Oh but we have to be careful and polite lest we upset them. After all, it's our fault that they get so upset they say things to get themselves banned.
