Also, guns don't sound nearly as satisfying in real life.

Sound is part of the visceral experience, but I wouldn't put too much stock in it.
All the more reason for the simulated version.
(Edit: When I was target shooting, it was a .22 rifle. Just the right amount of pop.)
If it were up to me, personal guns would be mostly confined to ranges (and police and military of course). I've appreciated how Japan regulates them though. it's hard to get a gun, you have to jump through a lot of hoops, but they're still technically legal if you're persistent, and gun violence is next to zero. I'm generally libertarian enough to allow freedom for activities if the state can prevent harm from them in less restrictive ways than total bans, if it's real prevention at a virtually total level.
Since Tocky was kind of asking, the Scorpion was originally made for police, something easy to carry and have on you at all times while you're doing other things, allows for fast reaction for surprises in close quarters and urban and residential areas, just shoot in a quick arc, easy maintenance. Those things make it good for corridor FPS surprise mobs too.

Every man should have the right to own a gun.
Every man should have the right to shoot someone.
Film stars and farmers still forcing opinions.
Like TV politicians playing cowboys and Indians.
Uncle Sam sleeps with his horse, keeps his brain in his hat.
With his trigger-happy patter, he'll rat-a-tat-tat-tat-tat-tat.

I want to ride a Triumph and not some ungainly Harley.
Oh god yeah. Or if there's not an old school Bonneville available, I'd take a 60's Honda.
Tocky on 30/5/2020 at 16:22
I had a Honda Dream in high school. I had a Honda Shadow after I left service. But I still liked my Harley FLH better than any bike I've ridden. It was heavy and had a large turning radius but the speed and torque made up for it. I stuck it in mud and powered it out, I skidded on pea gravel till the pipe sparked, I put it on the double stand and fucked on it. I've ridden other Harleys but none so low that I had that level of confidence. It was a bull by the horns but I had the bravado of youth to make it mind. I would like that again but I'm no longer young and worry I could no longer take command like that again. That troubles me. I like to think I could with practice.

disagree with the exception of silencers, I do wish they sounded like in the movies.

Satisfying if you like early hearing loss.
