After playing for over two years i can't believe i haven't noticed this before. It would appear that depending on your rank in the mages guild and on how much the guild guides like you the prices that they offer for transporting you around get lower. Turns out that is not the case. Regardless of whether they SAY (with a sickly salesman smile no doubt!!) they will transport you for 14gp or for 3gp it is always the same price. They always take 10gp from me. I usually don't notice this because usually i don't use the guild guides until i have plenty cash but this time i had spent it all on training and fancy armor for my little character and had a whopping 8gp to my name. Fine, i thought. Enough for one last transport. NOPE!!! Even though they were saying to my face it would be 3gp, i couldn't afford it. What is up with that?
Not that it really matters unless your character is poor but is there any way to fix this?

kill em and rip the transport magiks from their body so you never have to pay for tht service again!! :mad: :mad: :mad:
:joke: or sell something for the stupid fare, it isnt that much. just steal something from an unguarded house, thats what i always do. :laff:
