I recently managed to acquire the big-box version of the UW I & II CD-Rom version off that wonderful institution called ebay.
Since I'm only interested in the games and never cared much about big game boxes (Pariah!) I was just going to bin it (Heretic!). But then I remembered the love some people hold on these boards for all the goodies that come in these boxes - what better impetus than for me to exploit this to my own devious ends? :ebil:
Actually, scrap that - here's the deal: I'm willing to part with the box and its goodies for zilch, all I ask is for is enough to cover P&P (although anything extra thrown my way would obviously also be clearly appreciated ;) ). But before I bore everyone to death with the 'business' side of things, here's what you get:
* big, sturdy cardboard box (well, duh)
* Ultima Underworld: Stygian Abyss Player's Guide - manual for UW I
* Ultima Underworld: Labyrinth of Worlds Player's Guide - manual for UW II
* A Safe Passage Through Britannia - 30 page booklet with detailed descriptions on many things in the world of Ultima; history, people, magic, monsters, etc.
* Memoirs of Cabirus - another 30 page booklet with even more details on the world of Ultima
* Ultima Underworld Clue Book: Mysteries of the Abyss - detailed walkthrough book for UW I with maps, tips and tricks for each level in the game The cat's in the bag.
* Ultima Underworld fold-out map - map of the first level of UW I
* The Castle of Lord British - fold-out map of Lord British's castle for UW II
* UW I & II reference cards and install guide
* Origin Games product catalogue
* NO GAME DISCS!!!
I'm keeping these to myself.
I'll try and stick up some pictures later if people are interested.
If anyone's interested let me know either here in the thread or via PM. Obviously, ideally, I'd like to give all of these items away in one bundle, but if there are several people who come to an arrangement I'm willing to send this stuff out piece-meal as well.
I'm only going to be able to post these items in the new year, but I started this thread now to see how much interest there is in these items.

that's about how long it took from phase 1 (pm) to phase 2 (paying for the p&p, etc) to phase 3 (actually receiving the stuff).
