Is NecroVision any good?
I found it to be a shit load of fun (as did Gunsmoke, I believe), definitely a better Painkiller spiritual successor than either Bulletstorm and Hard Reset. There's a demo available for you to try.

N.B. the demo is of an older build of the game. Patches significantly optimised things like load times and decreased the overall difficulty.

(

Includes Zeno Clash, Hoard, Lume, and Soulcaster 1 & 2. Dunno about the others but Zeno Clash is fun, weird and well worth a few bucks. Lume looks a bit interesting too.

@EvaUnit02: thanks. After The Darkness 2 I'm in the mood for more shooty shooty fun so I'm probably going to get it, even if it's just good enough.

Have you played NecroVision: Lost Company too?
It's on sale (
http://www.greenmangaming.co.uk/games/action/necrovision-lost-company/) here at the moment for 6.37 €, and I wonder if it's better than the first one.

Sorry, I haven't played the Necrovision expand-alone. The gist from Steam forum suggests that it's a bit short (well duh, it's a FPS mission pack, even if it is stand-alone), but has overall better level design and narrative than the vanilla game.

That's pretty nice if you don't have TOEE already: $10 for three games.

$4.99:
* Master of Orion 3
The first two were great games. The third takes micromanaging to such an extreme it's difficult to spot the game in between the management. Just my opinion, of course.

Or you tried to let the game play itself instead by setting various managers for the different aspects.
Too much spreadsheet and not enough charm for the third installment of this series.
