Thanks for the review. The youtube video in the review prompted me to buy it from Steam! For $2.50.. I don't care if it's good.. It looks like fun!

Yep. Hard as nails, but hilarious fun, and very addictive!

I punished myself through to the end of the default 'easy' and 'medium' levels, by which point I knew that even attempting any of the 'hard' levels would be an exercise in stupidity.

However, there's a brilliant online feature which allows you to view replays of people who are really really good at this game, so not only can you entertain yourself by watching alien motorcycle gods do flawless runs of the level you just clawed your way to the end of, but you can watch them ride the levels you don't even want to attempt, and thus still get some value out of them with no actual pain caused to yourself :)

There are a bunch of bonus levels at 'easy' and 'medium' as well, so I still have lots to play. Really great value at this price.

One thing that irked me is the flickering lights - either from some of the level or from the bike. There are many times where I have to hit "Backspace" to attempt the checkpoint again and that checkpoint is just right below the flickering light.. and I am getting headache from the stroboscope effects. Is there any way to turn it off or increase the gamma?

IIRC there are some video options regarding dynamic lighting? Maybe switch that off?

Damn, that is a great deal on Rainbow Six Vegas 2. I see it USED for higher. I haven't played it, but I hear it is decent enough.
