Are the rest of them worth picking up?
(Disclaimer: I've not played any of them either.) The series is pretty well regarded, and would seem to be worth trying if you like adventures. I gather that the two you have already pale by comparison to the subsequent titles. People seem to recommend trying either "Under a Killing Moon" or "The Pandora Directive". I picked up UaKM.

I don't know if it is worth it but with the price I'm seriously considering it. I just posted about AVP in the parent thread. I'm a bit of a impulse buyer. So, if anyone gets it, let me know how it works out.

I know, I am too. That's why I want to know if I should buy it before I do.

I picked up Tex Murphy 1+2 back when GoG gave it away for free, but hadn't gotten the chance to play it yet. Are the rest of them worth picking up?
Tex Murphy 1 & 2 are a bit awkward (1 especially), but as Shadowcat indicated, Under a Killing Moon and the Pandora Directive are where it's at. I have played and love both of them, and I consider them among the finest adventure games I've ever played. They even have in-game (graduated) hint systems so you don't need to go alt+tab/alt+enter to look things up online.
Of course, my reply is too late for the deal, but I think they're absolutely worth it at normal price too :D.

Yeah...I decided to go ahead and get them, but then I went away for the weekend and when I came back, though I had enough time to get them, I completely forgot. :erg:
Thanks, though. I'll pick them up at some point.

Hey, thanks for the update. I bought it. EatSleepGame.com is current;y doing a GameClub for the second game, and now I can 'participate'.

Spotted like 10 new copies of C&C: Red Alert 3 in Future Shop's bargain bin. $19. Remembed my cousin bragging about how he pre-ordered it. And back into the bin it went.
Fucking Christ, stop fagging up this forum with your trash.

Does non-Steam Mount & Blade have DRM on it? I'm tempted to buy it, but it would be a significant bonus if I could just buy it on Steam and use the serial to unlock a DRM-free version.

I looked through the titles and the only games that seemed appealing to me were the CSI titles (acting on the assumption that they're similar to adventure games, never played any of them) and Dark Messiah. Are they worth my time/money?
