I really love your way of scaring the
shit
out of us Thief fans. Those SpiderTraps were absolutly awesome and bloody scaring. :thumb:
My daughter Salli, age 11 is totally scared of spiders and when ever she comes across one she turns to me to get rid of it. Normally I am the one to comfort her and to tell her that she is so much bigger than them so maybe they are more scared of her.
But from now on I too hate spiders. :p

Hello Gloria and Dark Arrow, thank you for the mission, real scary :( , but do the frobbable mirrors in the game have a purpose? Great mission ! :cheeky:

I'm pretty sure they're just supposed to be mirrors, Verna. I was curious as to a
bookshelf (in Diana's room, Haunted House mission, I think) as objects in my inventory shrunk (usually means there's something frobbable around).
IIRC, you only have to save one. There's an unconscious guy in the area with the slamming doors and beds.
Nah, I think it depends on the difficulty you chose I played on Expert and had to save them all;
three as it turned out (a pagan near the entrance w/ the damaged balcony and two "noblemen" in brown in the main ward).
Well...that was...fun.
At least there weren't any house-sized spiders. :)
I liked that spooky singing in the Ghost House.
Are the dust motes in the basement an artifact of the snowing or a seperate effect?

It's a great mission.
The more terrifying that I played.

But i don't understand what to do with the frobbable mirror in the child room ?
metal dawn on 13/3/2005 at 20:53
Like I said before, I'm pretty sure the "mirror" doesn't do anything.
I think it's really a window looking into a copy of the room it's in.
Ooh. That probably ruined it for you.

Thank you metal dawn, I think that you are right.
I am very very disappointed ! :( :weird: ;)

How I got out of the haunted hospital was
to go into the chapel place with the dead haunts and shoot an arrow into the rafter and then the wooden roof and then climb out of the hole slide down and jump into the garden
Well its makes a change.
Mary.

I got out the way I got in. That basement is much larger in the Haunted Hospital. I played Ghost House first and spent a while looking for a way to open that section (it was apparent that there was more there) just like I spent a while trying to get into the attic. Humbug! ;P

Love the special effects in these missions. I'm missing about 1,000 loot from the max in The Ghost House version which is odd given how small the area is compared to the Haunted Hospital. Any major caches?
Got clever and used the crates to mantle over the fence and get to the back of the house which is accessable in the Haunted Hospital version. Aside from the one skeleton monster, nothing notable. I even tossed a spy orb into the hole in the chapel's room but it's empty.
