How can I save all patients ? Where are they ?
Shadow on 13/3/2005 at 16:43
IIRC, you only have to save one. There's an unconscious guy in the area with the slamming doors and beds.
Where is this death scroll? Have used the two items on the heart, it has disappeared.
Mary
it's
After you have gone around the area that looks down onto the fountain, down the stairs, where there's a skeleton guard and hammerite guard, there's a room around there with 4 beds and a dead body, the scroll is there.
Thanks Shadows,
Got it. The objective ticks off, so
it is pick up the patient and find a way out.
On my way.
Mary.
BTW Shadows
you do not need a key. Look up and you will see the way out.
I don't understand...
I am on the ghost hospital level... i know the way out of there. But at the entrance of the hospital there are two doors in that area, one leads to an area with 4 dead hammerites and a priest, it appears to be a chapel. Anyway there is a door on the left, that is frobbable and i am assuming there is a key to open this, unless this was a mistake...
In short, if you get an idea of making a multiplot mission, dump it and just concentrate in making one of the plots. No need to do compromises then.
And what about 2 missions in timeline? Second mission the same place but after some time... (remember Lost City in original Thief, or Wheel of Time game).

Haven't read the thread 'cause I don't want to spoiler anything. Probably play later today. Weeeeee more FM's!! :)

Haunted Hospital:
The cemetary door, I should have made it unfrobbable. No key for that one. The way out is either through the basement or the second floor balcony.

EXCELLENT FM- both of them! The hospital level was the best from a gameplay perspective- it was larger, more oppurtunities for sneaking were there- but for sheer scare factor, the house mission was easily the better of the two (I mean absolutely no offense to Gloria Creep, your storyline was creepy as hell too). If that house mission went on any longer, I seriously don't think I would have been able to finish it, at least not in one sitting.
Anyway, best bits in the FM (If you haven't beaten it, don't read these, they give away some good stuff):
The hospital-
1. The guy sitting in the chair next to the hospital bed- when you get near him his head does a 360 degree spin showing off his zombified features before he slumps over. Didn't really scare me, since I saw something like that coming (yeah...that's right... :erm: ), but I had to smile at how clever it was.
2. The guy hanging onto the balcony. And I was going to help him out too...jerk.
3. The floating lantern in the library.
4. The doctors, best custom AIs EVER.
The House-
1. The first time you see the lady of the house. UGH, it gives me shivers just thinking about it. Here I thought that nothing rendered in the Dark engine could scare me anymore, but when she turns around and I saw that horribly decayed face, my heart seriously went up into my throat...
2. The basketball bouncing down the stairs, followed by the little girl ghost appearing and asking "Do you want to play with me?". Man Dark Arrow...you're relentless.
3. The whole effect where the woman appeared normal in the mirror, but looked like a horrible decayed zombie when you turned around and actually looked at her. Really clever! Also, I think I peed my pants a little. :erg:
4. The ghost coming out of the walls.
5. The way the monster in the basement died. I have no idea how you did that crazy effect where he turned into dust, but it was AWESOME. Also, the wine bottle suddenly getting hurled at me on my way to the basement scared the ever-loving crap out of me!
Yep, great FM! Though, it will probably take me awhile to work up the courage to play either of them again.
Sick freaks. :thumb:
