In a way, that's a flaw with the forum software. It should remember the POST data when you get redirected to the login screen, and then make the post once you've logged in.
Or just use JavaScript to detect that you've been logged out when you press the Submit button and pop up a login box without leaving the page.
Still, I've never had an issue with this, but I use "remember me forever" mode anyway.
