He's complaining that the boards automatically log him off(end his session, whatever) before he finishes writing a post.
Just check that little "Always logged in" box.

On any decent browser, going back after you get redirected to the login screen will return to the new post screen, complete with the contents of your unsent post.

ditto.
Took that habit years ago and even though most days connection is steady and browsers keep shit in memory, it's never a bad idea to copy everything just to be on the safe side.
Seconded. I used to always lose threads due to my slowness. Sometimes I would cry too.

I only have the problem if I don't check the box at log in to have it remember my password. Sometime during the composition of a post or PM, I will be logged off of TTLG and won't know it until I try to submit the message. Sometimes going back to the composition page doesn't work, so I have had to copy my post to the clipboard, or compose it in Notepad, preemptively.
Speaking of cookies... is there a way to lock a cookie so it doesn't get deleted by Disk Cleanup, Ad-Aware, or the browsers' Delete Cookies options? Probably not a good idea, right?

David, how long is the time you have to make a post after you "Create New Post" until the cookies are invalid or whatever.
LMAO about the buglunch comment. I hadn't thought of those posts he made forever. He was on crack or something. It was like you were in the middle of a story with him at the first contact. You're like, "Uh....what did I miss?" I laughed my ass off many a times reading his posts, knowing that most people were scratching their head and going "WTF?"
