If i got it right the point was the mission briefings in which ingame scenes are shown. And scripted cameramovement always looks nice than handdrawn... ;)

I kind of like str8g8's idea about taking in-game movies and applying post-production to them, but then again traditional Thief briefings were primarily static content anyway. Worth bearing in mind though, as STiFU says it's an easy way of getting in-game scenery into the briefings.

Ah, I see what you mean. Yeah, could be useful for that, though it would probably be easier to just turn off the HUD, go into ghost mode, and take a screenshot if you wanted a static image (like the presumably handdrawn(? static, anyway) ones in the old-style briefings).

Something really off with your normal map, It doesn't correlate with the actual texture at all.

Yes it does!!! :D But i would really like to do something with premiere too... We both can't handle that program very well until now, so lets learn it together and produce some hot stuff...
Let me know if you need any tips with that. I would suggest just experimenting with it for a while and get used to the layout and controls.

I know. I was trying a different uncompressed format. For some reason the RGBA4 format gives different dimensions in t3ed. Too bad because that format is smaller. I'm fixing it now.

That's more like it. :) Specular is perhaps a little high though - it looks metallic rather than stony in many places.

There are no speculars in there.

Heh. Darn. Well, it does look shiny, for whatever reason.
