Have we decided on the storyline? If so some concept art/architecture layouts would be nice.

It seems nobody has something to oppose, so lets work on this story! :) Str8g8, do you want to do those cutscenes on your own? If not, I'd be glad to help you out a bit... Besides i will do the soundtracks anyway, and a soundtrack composed for such a scene would be much better than just a normal soundtrack playing... :)

@ Ziemanskye: :thumb: Finally finished downloading the reference, excellent stuff. Jogged my memory a bit about the layout, it's like a small town inside the walls (the arieal photo shows this pretty well) ... very cool. I can count 3 major buildings, plus the garden and surrounds.
I am wondering now though whether it is possible to do this justice in the time allowed. The Castle could almost be a campaign in itself. What if, as someone suggested earlier, we break the story into two installments, with the Baron's Estate making up part two?

I thought we were waiting till C7 is out of the way? That should give me time to finish my FM (I really don't want to abandon it). Actually, I might try and do something in-between times, just to whet the appetite a bit, but I think the next step is fleshing out the story a little, finalising the mission structure etc.
@STiFU: if you are doing the sound, and I am doing the artwork, it would be great to collaborate on the editing and compositing! Sounds pefect.

Sorry about that (I donated my C7 maps) so C7 is out of the way for me at least :eww: So we're doing the Cabal?

Basically seems to be down to either the 5 mission First Glyph, or the 3 mission Evil Baron's second cousin's sister's councilor's maid's brother's plot :p
I don't mind either way, but I need to know what I'll be working on, and most people seem to be leaning towards the 3 mission thing...

We might need a mod to add a poll or we make a new one (which might be a waste of space). Once a thread's been created I don't think I could add a poll after the fact.

hmn i don't think we'll need a poll. Just speak out whatever you think... I'd rather like to do the 3 mission campaign by now. But still with the prison in between... :)

Yes it does!!! :D But i would really like to do something with premiere too... We both can't handle that program very well until now, so lets learn it together and produce some hot stuff... I don't know about your rendering skills. Those could be usefull in our project and i'd be glad to make some nice renderings if needed for a scene, though i am no good character modeler. But we will see what time will bring... ;)
And while we have the thieves' highway now, will we give up the blackpack? It would be better to do so in my oppinion after copying the texts to the new host...

That sort of defeats the point of using matinees in the manner I described, which is to keep filesize down. If you're just going to render it out to a video file anyway then there's not much point in using them - it would probably be much easier to use a video editing program to do it all.
