Wow!! We should really start small in my oppinion, like prustage said too... we can still do another project after this one but we should really get some experience in teamwork and so on first. And what if our campaign woun't be as good as we thought? What if the player doesn't want to play the campaign again? Then he would miss a whole level. Two different endings would be okay for me, but i think 2 different end missions would go far too far.:wot:

In happier news, I went touristing today.:D
I got around most of Edinburgh castle (damn conservation/security issues!), and bought a copy of the official guide book too, so I'll scan and zip the images up later.
I don't in anyway guarantee the quality or usefulness of said images though.
Edit: Okay, now just to somewhere to put 120Mb (about 75 pictures).
There's an FTP account in your PM box.

I agree we should start small then build on that as time goes on. If we go on to make another project then we could do this one as a demo.

I don't think two different end missions would work very well. I think we need two solid bookends. Objectives & content could change during the course of the campaign.
:thumb: On a side note I think the project has already seen a lot of growth in less than a week :D I'm surprised. I'd also like to thank jay for doing a lot of background work as well.

Fat and messy way of getting the file:

If you've got dl managers you could try them since it's like a 118Mb for now.
I might try filtering and cleaning them up later, so don't be too upset if I post another set.

Thank you Ascottk! :) But lets finalize our structures, or what do the others say? Our structures look like this until now:
Ascottk - Leader/Coordinator (Textures, Scripting)
Crispy: Writing
doctormidnight: Mapping
Glaswolf: Mapping
HansCZ: Textures, Soundtrack
Jay Petit: Mapping
ProjectX: Mapping
Rantako: Mapping, Story
STiFU: Soundtrack, Modeling, Mapping
str8g8: Concept art, Modeling, Texturing, Mapping
Ziemanskye: Mapping, Modeling
Gonchong: Ambient soundtrack if we need one
Duco: eventually Mapping
veledan: eventually Mapping
Is that allright for everyone? And there is another question: Will we need an art- and a soundsupervisor? we started talking about that yet once but we didn't find a sollution.

That's 8 mappers, for 3-5 missions...
Though I find myself curious about if Krypt is kind of laughing at us about our attempts to organise ourselves.
GlasWolf on 12/1/2006 at 13:30
Judging by recent comments he's probably fairly impressed!

I'll be happy to do mapping if needed after C7 but I'd be as game for scripting and implementing puzzles, and messing with properties to make new things.

I doubt it. From a professional point of view, this is the most sensible thing to do, even though some, like Jay, ay say otherwise and keep on harping that it is 'just' a community project.

I think we are doing a great job here, besides we haven't done anything that goes further than just planing stuff. It's just a shame that some of the guys, that signed up until now, don't come here often enough, or at least don't post anything. But i guess we will just have to live with that because it is an community project and there is still RL! :) Or perhaps they are doing some other stuff in (
