To quote the Lemmings, just before they blow up: "Oh no!" My server PC is down and I don't immediately see what the problem might be. Most likely I'll have to have someone come by and have a look at it. While I'm hoping that this will be resolved before long, it won't be in time for today's Arma session, so... no Arma today, I'm afraid. :-/

Brief update: the Arma server is still at the PC vet's. I'm hoping to get it back next week, but the earliest date for a coop sessions 19/6, as I'll be busy next weekend. I'll post an update as soon as I know more.

Another update: I just talked to the PC guy, and it looks like the mainboard is frazzled - and it's not clear what else it's taken with it.
I'm thinking of getting a new PC to use as a dedicated server and backup computer, but I can't say yet when I'll get around to getting it and then setting it up for Arma, as things are pretty busy these days. Looks like the hiatus will be a bit longer - but I don't want it to become too long, since I miss the Arma sessions - bugs, server issues, friendly fire and all.

The new server PC has arrived! It will be a week or two before I'll get around to setting it up, however; for one thing, I'm recovering from a bout of sudden hearing loss that means I'm taking things easy as much as possible for now. (The hearing loss has already improved after a week, but the tinnitus, which is nearly constant, is quite exhausting.) I'll also be away in the mountains from a week, but I'm hoping that I'll be able to set up the new server for the first Saturday in July.
So, to be optimistic: I'm hoping to run the next Arma 3 coop session in two to three weeks, so let's aim for:

Yeah, no. That wasn't as easy as planned. The new Arma server should be up soon, but it isn't quite there yet, so no Arma tomorrow. I'm hoping to get it up and running over the weekend and, the Gods of Arma willing, I'll announce a proper date for the relaunch of the Fighting TTLGers very soon.

Okay, the server seems to work now - though obviously we'll have to see how it works with players other than myself. The Gods of Arma willing, I'll be running the first session on the new server this coming Saturday:

P.S.: Since it's been a while, make sure to check if there've been any updates! I know that there has been an update for ACRE2, for instance, which may require you to run Steam as an admin (so the TS3 plugin can be installed), if you're not already doing so.

First session on the new server: a game of Dynamic Recon Ops in beautiful Virolahti, Finland. It didn't automatically take over the settings, so we played with hard-as-nails defaults for all the mods, which was less than ideal... but damn, it was good playing with the gang again, which this time included demagogue, henke, Jeshibu, Malf and PigLick. There were some technical issues, but by and large the new server seems to be working well. And we defeated the Russians! (Though, admittedly, this took more respawns for some of us than we actually killed enemies.)

I've done some work on the server after our Saturday session, and it should now (fingers crossed etc. etc.) load the previous server settings, which means that a) we'll be back to using the basic ACE3 medical system and b) pointing is back on the menu, boys! It's not a 100% guarantee that everything will work out of the box, because the way
Arma saves mod settings is a bit confusing, and that's not helped by me not having had a consistent nomenclature for the saved settings. Still, it'll be an improvement to last Saturday and we can tweak things going forward.
So, I'm hoping to run another session in just under two weeks:
