How about if you mute me and I agree to just follow instructions? Besides which I've been nice and have been saying all the right things lately.
Also your mouse movements can be a bit less jerky if you shoot from kneeling.

Beautiful.
Thanks to henke, Jeshibu, Malf, Al_B and PigLick (who left us way too soon) for a fun session. I'll try to have a video ready over the next couple of days, but basically we managed everything from gathering intel and blowing up AA to protecting civilians from getting run over by anyone other than us. And that's not even mentioning the goats.

I liked the ending too.

My broadband dropped out and I didnt get back on until at least half hour later, bit late by then. I like to think I just kept running.

That is a beautiful image... somewhere in Takistan you're still running.

And here's the video I put together of last Saturday's session. It's pretty long - 30 minutes - and I still have to figure out whether I want these to be a collection of highlights or if they're supposed to give a sense of the overall mission. Also, Movie Studio crashed on me a couple of times, so some of my edits were lost; this is a relatively rough edit, but I'm still figuring out how to do these, so they'll stay rough for a while. Nonetheless, I'm happy that I caught many of the best moments of the game: HUMVEE 1 getting blown up spectacularly, a Takistani civvie getting rescued spectacularly, henke blowing up that AA tank spectacularly, and obviously the trippy ending (which Jeshibu already posted earlier in this thread).

I very much enjoyed the mission - I think it's one of the first time that one of the dynamically generated mission types delivered on its promise. Zargabad is also a nice map: it's compact but still provides a nice range of different environments (urban, outlying compounds, open terrain, military bases) for pretty different engagements. I still want to play more authored missions too, but with those there's always a bit of a risk that the scripting no longer works, so it's something of a crap shoot.
Anyway, let's meet again in two weeks - there are plenty of civvies in need of our protection, eh, Jesh?

also my sound had some real issues and I played mainly in silence, which is quite an odd experience, I just kinda tagged along with you guys and hoped for the best.
