Compatible with my HTC Desire Z but not my Nook HD+? WTF?

Any possibility of this coming to PC?
I wouldn't hold my breath. It looks similar on the surface, but the mobile version of DX is actually very simplified. For instance there aren't really any physics-objects. Bodies don't ragdoll, crates and barrels are bolted to the ground. If they ported it to PC it would be an underwhelming experience for gamers used to Human Revolution. They could of course take the assets over to the proper engine and remake it but that'd probably be too much work to be worth it.

The Fall is out on Steam on the 25th for $10.

Tbh, I'm not that surprised. It seems that most 'lesser' platform spin-offs see some form of re-release on main platforms nowadays; AC Liberation, Batman Blackgate, Halo Spartan Assault and Castlevania Mirror of Fate spring to mind. I guess there's sufficient brand recognition for there to be enough of a market even for these scaled-down games (compared to the main entries in a franchise).

Most of the games you just mentioned were for portable systems, which have been getting ports to other platforms for years. Mobile games almost never see a real platform. We still don't have Mass Effect Infiltrator or Dead Space Mobile on any platforms other than iOS and Android. The Wolfenstein and Doom RPG games have never been on anything but iOS. It's pretty rare for this to happen.
On topic, very excited about the Steam release. :cheeky:

Wow, that certainly was unexpected. Hope the PC version uses the original DXHR engine and gameplay. I never finished The Fall on the iPad so I'll probably get this in a sale at some point.
