Search gave nothing, Old Hat says green light (both of which are quite surprising), so I have to ask something.
Is this:
(
http://www.doomworld.com/10years/doomcomic/)
real?
It's gotta be some of the worst stuff I've ever trudged through. The protagonist breaks off in the middle of combat to lament about how we're ruining the Earth for our children. This is even more horrible than Ralph Bakshi's Lord of the Rings.
I just... uuurgh, it hurts my brain.
Oh, and if it is real, was it ever sold?

There are actually a lot of terrible old comics for whatever was popular at the time. (That doom one is...unique, but some of the worst are free heroes against smoking/some other cause)

I take it you guys aren't men of letters.
I'm curious if anyone actually speaks like that while playing the game ... I probably don't want to know the statistics.

I think I may have gotten that comic at one point or another, maybe a promo?
I'm not certain, but I know I've read it before.
I've gone years w/o buying a single issue of any comic, but I've been buying tons of graphic novels and collections lately.
Reading the 'The Gunslinger Born' collection based on the early exploits of Roland f/ The Dark Tower books, and I'm looking forward to the next collection of 'The Walking Dead' (#8) which should be out soon.

Is this a comic of the game DOOM? I can't access it work, but if it is, I'll be supremely disappointed unless it's a tale of political intrigue deepened by strong psychosexual analysis through two remarkably complex characters who interact entirely through dialogue.

"Knock knock; Who's there? ME! Me, Me, Me, Me, .." :laff:
That line killed me ;)
Thank's for the share

The Doom Comic is as famous as the (
http://www.fanfiction.net/s/836450/1/DOOM_Repercussions_of_Evil) Doom: Repercussions of Evil. Both can be summed up with "It really is possible for something to be so bad that it's good".
I mean shit. "YOU'RE HUGE! THAT MEANS YOU HAVE HUGE GUTS!
RIP AND TEAR!" or "No John. You are the demons." are instant cult classics(Read: memes).

It's not just that it's run and gun, but it's just
bad. Painfully so.

Shit that shines like a gem, like that sort.
