I don't think it's so much about having options
between the others, as much as having options all of one type. As it is you have two different scales in one poll:
Options 1 and 2 are about the effects of the alcohol, and very subjective. Options 3, 4 and 5 are about the quantity of alcohol, and much more objective.
I'm not quite in categories 1 or 2 with any regularity, but I certainly drink more than categories 3, 4 or 5. I wouldn't, however, say I'm "between them" because they're measuring two different things.
And yeah, this season has been great, if only because they're being so cagey and hinting at so many possible ways people are disenchanted and ready to [flip on/take out] Tony. Though I could have done without a bunch of that Kevin Finnerty stuff. WTF is wrong with shows this year, between Swearingen and his kidney stone, Tony and the gut shot, does everybody feel the need to have their star characters take a few episodes off at the beginning of the season now? I swear to god, if Ari starts off the next season of Entourage in rehab, I'm gonna flip.
