Voted!
One of the amazing pics you guys posted at moddb looks like a awesome redux of my favorite TII level ''shipping and Recieving''. And then the lost-cityish temple.....:D
A thing I noticed is that all pics really captured the spirit of industrial steampunk - Garretts world; its not easy to steer a mod towards a special existing genre but you guys did it very well.
In fact the Dark Mod looks like Thief DS should have been looking.

Dude, you're going to love it. Trust me, I've played with it, I was drooling.

I registered for the sole purpose of voting for you guys. I've watched the movie and seen the screenshots, and it looks simply amazing. It pains me that you guys can't make money off this, because it deserves it.
When you release, I'm considering trying my hand at mapping for it. I played with the Halflife 1 mapping program, and enjoyed fooling around with it, but I never felt driven to make something like this before. How difficult will the constructor be to use? Will I need a degree from ITT Tech in Computer Aided Design before any of it makes sense, or does it have an intuitive interface (basically the opposite of DromED)?

In many ways better than Dromed and more flexible so you can customise it to your preferences, layout, keys, etc. We are working hard to make plenty of tutorials for newcomers so you should be able to start producing a simple, completely playable tutorial mission on day one once you've installed everything.

Yes, Fidcal has produced an excellent A to Z guide on how to create your first, fully playable (though small) mission. The actual mission made to go with the guide is already pretty damn fun. :)

Had this Mod site bookmarked since it was announced. Every time a new screen shot is release (or video) I drool all over my keyboard and have to buy a new one.

Thought I'd let everyone know:
Thanks to everyone who voted for the Darkmod, you got us placed at #63 out of some 6,000+ mods in the database.
That puts Darkmod in the top 100.
Now you can vote again to get it into the top 5 :cheeky:
We're up against alot of First Person Shooters so the more votes the better.

I think there are 8 days left.

Wow that many? Amazing. We are doing good, of course, we can do better. Vote!!

I wanted to ask, will characters drop their swords? In thief 1 and 2 it was always unrealistic how their weapons were "glued" to the character's hand. I mean, if you died, most likely, 90% chance the weapon wouldn't still be in your hand. Right?

Awesome. =) I didn't get to vote for it though. =(
