still lookin great, y'all! Screw an official T4, TDM will pwn!
Hey, BTW, seeing as how I never heard response back . . . after I have some 'official' schooling under my belt next semester, y'all want me to get back in touch about trying to lend a hand?
Yes please apply :)

For sure I'll remember it. I get the feeling that once back in a classroom setting, alot of the material I taught myself and learned years ago will come back very quick. I'm llooking forward to the class, actually, as it'll probably be one of the easier classes I'm going to have to take.
BTW, if someone was willing to, I'd be willing to take a look at a section of completed code just to kinda get my feet wet again and study it a little - if someone wanted to send me a file. It's up to y'all, really. What language(s) are y'all using for coding (or what is it similar to)?

We're using C++ for both projects (The Dark Mod and DarkRadiant). There is also Doom 3 scripting (a lot dumber than C++, but still powerful), whose syntax is also C-like.
Concerning the code samples: it's probably best to talk to New Horizon about it. :)

cool - cause what I vaguely remember was C++ code, anyhow. Although I learned BASIC and some VisBASIC, C++ stuck out more - very easy to interpret as long as it isn't spaghetti code or hack&slash code.
I'll probably PM NH within a day or two, unless he notices this post first - it might be easier to PM him on TDM forums, anyhow.

Hmm, yeah count me in on the source code order, I've taken Java for almost two years in college so far and am just finishing up this semester of accelerated c++, and would love to atleast take a look, i never seem to have spare time though, or i'd definatly offer my help:(

You can get code samples in C++ of DarkRadiant off SourceForge, since it is all Open Source.
(
http://sourceforge.net/projects/darkradiant/)
The main mod itself is not open source yet, so accessing the code would probably require applying as a contributor, but that's up to New Horizon.
