I got my copy of Thief Gold (used) off eBay for $7 + shipping, but that was about 4 years ago.

Thief Gold is pretty hard to come by today.
I've seen people selling Doom 3 used for five euros. Shouldn't be too hard or expensive to acquire a copy when it comes to that.

It also seems to be a matter of timing for Thief Gold. I've *almost* gotten it a couple times. Bid in a few auctions. But didn't get it. And seen a few go by but missed them by an hour or so. :P I'm still watching for it, and worse comes to worse, I DID buy the Dark project for a buck (or 20 if you want to count the shipping. *coughs*), and I have the downloadable version of Gold.
I also downloaded a pirated copy for now so I can play the FMs on my laptop. No, don't look at me like that. lol I paid 24 bucks for the downloadable version and felt ripped off as it was not the 'its yours forever' that they advertised, and I'm still looking for a proper version to buy. So I know they're out there. Just getting rare. I'll just expand my search/watch to pick up these others too.
If anyone has an extra copy they're willing to part with. . .*waves her hand* :D

at the time that DM will be out, doom 3 will cost allmost nothing (at ebay)

Or it wont be available anymore like thief-tdp thief-gold thief-2 are virtually unfindable these days. Thief-DS sold so poorly apparently its not even for sale anymore, At least I never see it in the stores anymore.
