Have you guys tried the Doom mod Barista 3? It is very impressive with the same frob highlight thing and other scripting, on screen readables (new coverage), etc. It might be a great learning source for stuff you want to do, as that guy seems pretty advanced

The frob highlight is already working and I don't think that we want to change the mechanics right now. And unless the Barista team hasen't opened their code I doubt that it will help us much. :)

I have always felt badly for everyone not registered about the forum being the way it is. If you're not registered, all you see is those 3 stupid boards. But there is info like FTP server info that shouldn't be publicly available.
The artists (concept, 3D, and mapping artists) have been releasing screen shots, and they are very cool. These haven't been made public yet, and they would make people drool. But I think there's some moderation about what we release, to avoid certain things... I'm not really clear on it myself, but it made sense at the time :)
There has already been a website set up, but it has nothing on it. Hopefully that will be the "middleground" eventually.

Just to prove that the above pics weren't simple Photoshop buggery I've uploaded a video. I hope the format works, it's just a microsoft standard.
If anyone wishes to host this little clip feel free. I don't know how long I'll be able to keep it up on my space.
