I am up way past my bedtime. Why? I started Tears of St. Lucia and couldn't stop :P. I checked out TDM about a year ago and didn't really get into it - but now that I've gone back I have to wonder why not! Massive kudos to the entire team - you guys have done something wonderful :D. Can't wait to get my teeth into a few more missions.

Hi - don't know if anyone can help; I'm trying to sign up to the Dark Mod forums (using the same username as this forum), and everything seems to go fine except I don't receive the confirmation e-mail.

Apologies if I've posted this in the wrong place, or if I'm missing something obvious (quite likely, hence the username), but if there's anyone from forums.thedarkmod.com reading who may be able to help I'd really appreciate it.

Does your email have a junk folder it automatically puts spam-looking emails and did you check in it?

Or maybe you inadvertently miswrote your email address and you could PM it again to one of the Darkmod admins (they have "Admin" next to their name in posts) through their account here on TTLG maybe so they can double check(?).

OK...someone somewhere has done something; I've just had another go at signing in to TDM forums AND IT WORKED! Hoorah! Not sure what happened (I'm sure I didn't get an email) but - hey, thanks to whoever got it sorted.

The final phase of the beginner contest is nearly here. (So "soon").

As for other authors, many of the long-time mappers with SVN access are using v1.08 features so those missions will happen after v1.08 is released.
